- The Gainsborough Trio
was formed when we were conservatory students, and we would come together
as friends, playing chamber music for fun. The trio has grown, and for
the last ten years has been an active professional ensemble that
performs at over 50 weddings, parties, and special events per year in a
wide radius around the New York area and abroad.
- We have gained
popularity for our high standards of performance, flexibility of
repertoire, and overall professionalism. Our history of satisfied
customers says it all.
- We are all full-time,
professional musicians with degrees from the top conservatories in the
country. In addition to our years of experience playing for weddings and
social events, the Gainsborough Trio has also been featured in concerts
at Columbia University, Riverside
Church, and at the
"Sundays on the Island"
recital series. We also served as Trio-in-Residence on the Queen
Elizabeth II during her 1994 World Cruise.
- Primarily a flute,
violin and cello classical group, we often expand and enrich our sound
to include clarinet, viola, or harp.
- Our extensive repertoire
reflects our years of experience. With choices ranging from standard
classical chamber music to traditional wedding selections to jazz, pop,
and showtunes, our musical selections are sure to meet your needs.
