Flutist
Reva Youngstein has studied music since the age of three. She attended
the Manhattan School of Music
and completed her Master of Music degree at Yale University. She has participated in several renowned
music festivals, including the Tanglewood,
Aspen, Utah, and New Hampshire Music Festivals,
and The
National Repertory Orchestra, on fellowship. In addition to her
performing with The Gainsborough Trio, she also plays with the New Jersey Symphony, Princeton Symphony,
Stamford Symphony,
Greenwich Symphony, and in the orchestra of Opera New Jersey. Ms. Youngstein is also on the music faculty at The Brearley School in New York City.
Carla Fabiani, violinist and violist, has played extensively in many US opera companies including Spoleto Festival, Sarasota Opera, Palm Beach Opera and Utah Festival Opera. At present she performs with New York City Gilbert and Sullivan Players, Tri Cities Opera, Hudson Valley Philharmonic and Greenwich Symphony. A full scholarship recipient of Carnegie Mellon University Masters Degree Program, Carla is head of the string program at the Rodeph Sholom School in Manhattan and maintains a private studio in Greenwich, CT. In 2006-7 Carla also toured as concertmaster with Meatloaf and performed on the 2008 Saturday Night Live episode with British artist Adele.
Cellist Carlo Pellettieri
earned his Bachelor of Music degree from the Eastman School of
Music and his Masters from Northern
Illinois University. Immediately upon graduation he toured
Spain
,
France
,
and
Switzerland
as Principal Cellist of the New American Chamber Orchestra. He has also acted
as Principal Cello with the New
York City Opera National Company and the Julius Grossman Orchestra, with
whom he has also appeared as soloist. Other groups with which he plays
regularly include the Greenwich
Symphony, the Northeastern
Pennsylvania Philharmonic, and the Key West Symphony.
He is also active as a chamber musician and as such has appeared on five
continents.
Clarinetist
and frequent Gainsborough Trio guest artist Daniel Spitzer has
performed with the New York Philharmonic, New
Jersey Symphony, the American Symphony Orchestra, Orpheus Chamber Orchestra,
the Riverside
Symphony, the Princeton
Symphony Orchestra, the Northeastern
Pennsylvania Philharmonic, the New York Grand Opera, and in the Broadway pit of the
shows The Producers, The Music Man, Beauty
and the Beast, and Wicked. Mr. Spitzer was recently awarded the position of Principal
Clarinetist with the Hudson Valley Philharmonic, and is also Second/Bass Clarinetist with the Delaware Symphony Orchestra. He has also been a performer at several music festivals,
including the New Hampshire
Music Festival, the Utah
Music Festival, the Colorado Music Festival, Aspen, Bowdoin, and Tanglewood Music Festivals. |
